Before you send your photos
1. Who reviews my photos?
Every consultation is reviewed personally by Zhenya Masko, a Beverly Hills stylist and colorist with over 22 years of experience. Your guide isn't generated automatically. It's his professional read of your hair, face shape and proportions.
2. What photos do I need?
Four current views: front, left side, right side, back. Wear your hair down and dry, in good light, without filters. We show you each angle when you upload.
3. What will I receive?
Your Personal Haircut Guide: recommended length, shape and face framing, everyday styling advice, and a clear brief to share with your hairstylist.
4. Why do you ask so few questions?
Because most of what matters is visible in your photos: density, weight distribution, silhouette, the condition of your ends. We only ask about what a photo can't show, such as your natural parting or how much time you spend styling.
5. Can I show the guide to my own stylist?
Yes, that's what it's for. The guide is written in a language any professional can follow, so you can take it to your salon wherever you are.
6. Is the consultation free?
Yes. The first 60 consultations are free. After that, the consultation will become a paid service.
7. When will my guide be ready?
Within 3 business days of submitting your completed consultation. Zhenya Masko personally prepares your guide based on your answers and photos.
8. How will I receive my guide?
Your guide will be sent to the email and Instagram you provide. If it hasn't arrived within 3 business days, please check your spam folder or contact us at [email].
9. Is my photo used for anything else?
Your photos are used to prepare your consultation. We never store a facial template or biometric profile. Separately, you can choose to let us use your photos to improve our method. This is optional and doesn't affect your guide. Details are in our Privacy Notice.
10. Can I take the photos with my phone?
Yes. Use good natural light and ask someone to help with the side and back views if possible. Keep your whole head and hair in the frame.
11. Do I need an account?
No account is needed to complete the questionnaire. Your draft is saved in this browser.
12. How do I clear my saved photos?
Use Start over to clear your draft answers and selected photos from this browser. To request deletion of photos you've already submitted, contact us at [email].
13. Where is the consultation available?
We currently accept submissions from the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America, with the exception of Illinois, due to state regulations.
